Our Daddy

  • For all of the times you hop in the floor and let them jump on you
  • for all of the thousands of lego pieces you've assembled
  • for all of the soccer and baseball teams you've coached
  • for all of the times you've taken off work so that you don't miss their special programs at school
  • for all of the times you've watched Star Wars and Indiana Jones
  • for all of the times you've carried them when they were too tired to walk
  • for all of the hugs and kisses
  • for all of the support
  • for all of the times your love for the Lord has shone through to them
  • for all of the times you've had to walk out of the room or you thought you'd kill them
  • for all of the times you've told them the Bell Witch isn't real and monsters don't live in their closets
  • for all of the times you answer the same question for the millionth time
  • for all the times you give mommy the opportunity to have a break
  • for every day you go to your job so that you can support us
  • for the unconditional love
For all of the above and so much more, we love you daddy! Happy Father's Day!

The Last Two Weeks= 8 days in Disney and 4 days of VBS...

... so what do you get when you finally have a full day at home? I've said it before, its always Halloween at our house. :) The boys have pulled out every costume they've ever owned, we've ever bought at garage sales, or have ever been given by friends who've outgrown them. Here are their creations....
I LOVE the look on Aidan's face. I'm not sure this is a Superman you'd want to save you. :)
Spongebob and a Power Ranger (yes it has pink in the costume- what can I say- it was $1.00 at a yard sale)
Cap'n Jack

Spiderman and Hulk- ferocious! (This is when we learned that Avery had outgrown most of the costumes. :)

Scurvy Pirates- Aargh!
Spider Pirate and Flash Shrek
This Ninja Turtle has grown a bit since last wearing his uniform.
Anakin Skywalker

I have tons and tons of Disney pictures and will get my post on here about our trip soon. Hope everyone is having a great start to their summer- we sure are! :)

I Need A Diet Coke! :)

Happy Birthday Lori! We might have been more effective getting our play on the diet coke the boys are passing around had we had an actual diet coke. But, alas you know we are cheap here in the Waters household and all we had was Diet Big K. :)

To Mom... From Avery on Mothers Day

Avery made a sweet book for me for Mothers Day. He brought it home yesterday and was so excited that he couldn't wait to give it to me. And it truly is so sweet. He drew a picture of me and him. It has fill in the blank questions where he answered different things about me.
Here's a little excerpt...
My mom is as pretty as... a butterfly.

I'd like to tell my mom... that I love her more than the whole uneverse (love the phonetics!)

If my mom were a flower, she'd be a ... rose.

If my mom were candy, she'd be... chocolate

And my favorite- makes a momma feel good

If my mom were an animal she would be a ... HIPPO. :)

Out of the mouths of babes. Your hippo momma loves you my sweet boy!
