We went to a very cool new play place today. The only drawback is that it is located in Bellevue which is quite a drive. So, it wouldn't be a place we'd frequent but if you have some time and you're looking for a fun place, you should check it out. Its called the Monkeys Treehouse. The boys and I went with Saundra and her kiddos. They have a HUGE treehouse with rope ladders, cool slides, forts, and bridges. There is an amazing little room set up like a grocery story with a cash register and play food on the shelves with little carts to shop. In the middle of the floor is a sandbox. There is an arts and crafts area that has markers, dot painters, scissors, glue, and much more. They also have a stage area where the kids can dress up and pretend to be on stage. There are two party rooms where you can bring your own food in and have lunch or a snack. They have a little ones area with the big cushy blocks and a ball pit. There is so much more but I'll stop here. Click on the link and you can also view their gallery with pictures of the play area.
We enjoyed playing with Saundra and her kiddos! And yes both of my boys LOVED the dollhouse- although Avery's play with the dollhouse entailed him jumping the dolls out of the windows to their demise. :) He is a boy. :)

Did you really go today? So did Beth Gustafson and I! We didn't get there until 3 though. Cool place though huh?
We did! Aww! We left around 12:30. We got there about 9:30 and the kids played hard the entire time. We loved it. Wished we had a place like that closer to home.
Was it crowded when you got there? It got really crowded and they didn't allow anyone else in once they got to 50 kids.
Wow! It was not terrible busy when we were there. Maybe 20 kids? We were able to keep a good eye on each of the kids from where we were sitting.
I've heard this place is great. I grew up with the lady that opened it, Natalie! I can't wait to take the kids!
