It's Almost Here!

Swimsuit season!! Against the popular advice of my friends, I bought a cheap swimsuit. Now that I'm looking at it and trying it on in my own home (what is it about trying something on in your home and it looking different than when you try it on in the store?), I'm not loving it so much. Its so hard to find a good swimsuit that fits well and covers everything I want covered- and I have a little more to cover now than when I was in my early twenties. So, I've been online searching. I even looked at the "get the right swimsuit fit" on one of the sites. I know I need a halter style because of my body shape and I definitely need a skirted bottom. I am trying to break out into some color this season- normally I buy black or navy. I'm thinking red.
So here are a couple of swimsuits, leave me a comment and tell me which one you like best. Also if you have a place you shop for a good swimsuit I'd love to know where it is.

A. This one is the least expensive
B. I like the halter style of this one.
C. I'm not typically a pink person but this is cute.
D. I had to throw in a black swimsuit- I hope you can see this one. Sorry the pic is tiny.
E. This one is the lands end one I've been looking at since the beginning of Spring. It has a solid red skirted bottom.

you are going to look adorable in any of these. you know i'm a lands end girl so i definitely like the bottom one. but i love the color of the first one. it'll make you look tanner. i like the light blue but those colors always seem to make me look super white.

I like Land's End because they seem to last longer than department store bathing suits. You can try some on for the fit and style at Sears, and see what that color really looks like in real life. I have to wonder about catalogs and the weird choices they make with the colors they offer. Anyway, you never know until you try it on, so I won't guess as to which will look good on you. I also end up with black, but not intentionally, it just seems that they don't have the suit that looks good on me in any color but black. Love YA!

I vote for Land's End because I liked the one that I ordered. Of course it helped that I had that gift certificate :) I'm not a fan of paying $100 for a suit, but come to think of it, I think it has been more that 5 years since I bought one...I guess it works out in the long run. I know, I know, my daughter would tell me that it was WAY past time for a new suit! I'm so out of style. Ha ha. Anyway, I like the pink one too.

I like A and B. E is cute too, but I'm so shy about patterns. I have no idea why. Maybe it's because Marc hates anything floral or paisley. I think he's given me a complex.

Susan, My choice is 100% (E). I do like (A) for maybe just a hang out day with the kids but (E) has a lot of style and the red would be darling on you :o) But you are darling so no matter what you wear you will look FABULOUS......... Kimberly

I like the blue one. And I have found that buying a less expensive bathing suit worked out fine with me. I bought two from Target last year and they still look new. I like the blue one but buy yourself two, no black, I like the blue and pink. YOu look good in pink and red lady. The blue will match your beautiful eyes! I shop for mine at Target and Kohls. But the ones at Target will only cover your big toe! :)
Lands End is nice but a little too expensive, you know thirfty me. :)

They all are great. I think B is especially cute. You'll look good in any of them. Sorry I have no words of wisdom about where to buy a suit--have not bought one in 10 years! --Becky

I like the cut of (D) if it is in another color. I think black can wash you out unless you have a really, really good tan. I get my suits from Victoria's Secret. I can usually find a cute one on sale from there, under $100.00. I go with the Miracle Bra Tankinis because I need the support in the chest area. They last a couple of seasons and that is with going to a pool almost every day.

I love B and C. I am also looking for some swimsuits tht are tankini's this year (may be back to pre-pregnancy weight but belly still isn't firm and still has the line down it, LOL!). E is cute also if that is what you decide to go with. I know personally I would not pay a whoile lot for a bathing suit b/c I buy a new one every year just about, LOL! GOod luck! They are all very nice!

Hey Ladies
Thank you SO much for your comments. I had a lot of people e-mail comments too and the two popular ones were B- the blue one and E- the lands end one. I haven't ordered yet but I plan to in the next few days. :) Thanks again!!
