Passing The Time

The reason we love spring and summer so much is that we can play outside till bedtime. When its cold and rainy and we have to stay in with the boys, we end up playing a million games of hide and seek, duck duck goose, and the tickle monster. We have our own version of charades where we act out different animals and then there's the ever popular superhero charades where we act out our favorite super hero. Then if we really get stir crazy we just start coming up with funny stuff or better yet let the boys come up with crazy stuff.

Many of you may not have known that in his younger years Jim was a cheerleader.(Ok- he wanted me to insert here that he also played football and baseball) He was the one that came up with idea for this. :)

The boys could do this for hours- they walk up Jim's legs and flip over.


Sometimes I take the boys pics with them laying down and their heads together so they suggested we do this.




Avery suggested that we strike our favorite superhero pose. Avery is heatblast from Ben 10, I'm Spiderman (he's not my favorite but the only one I could think of a pose for) and Aidan is Storm from the X-Men (see the lightning coming from his hand- ha!)
